NEWS: lost in Disneyland

Andrew Williams senior producer/director at Disney channel UK recently commissioned lost in space's rob rae to design and produce this years Disney kids awards program graphics package.

The concept was inspired by robs digmi project and consists of a naive 3d world of cubes inhabited by little blue characters that represent Disney kids voting for their favorite bands, shows, etc. each kid has a vote which builds up to the Mickey ears speech bubble icon for the show. Disney wanted a more aspirational designer look but one that retained that vital essence of childhood with our any condescension. Robs solution filled the brief brilliantly. The cubist termite mound symbolizes the urban environs of today's voting Disney kids.

The package consists of the normal, main title, bug, straps, VT inserts, menus etc.
