lost in space has created customized mobile phone content for the Japanese market.

June 04 sees the Japanese launch of "Top Creators' Movie" ringtone animations
for a new generation of 3G phones. Lost in Space contributed several clips to the collection which also included work from other top uk talent such as D-Fuse, and Tomato.
These animations are distributed by DMOVE and XING on Japan's largest
ringtone site JOYSOUND which has over 7 million subscribers.

several clips were made by lost in space's diverse network of designers several of which will be features in the launch release and others in subsequent fortnightly releases through out the year. VJ veterans addictiveTV were also added to the mix by lost in space's creative director christian hogue who curated the clips submitted to DMOVE.

DMOVE Co. Ltd., a content planning and production company of 3Gmobile phone services in Japan, has begun to distribute ring movies produced by the world’s top creators. At this time there are 19 million 3G mobile phones in use in Japan that are capable of displaying moving images. A new directory called “Top Creators’ Movie” has been created on “Poke-Melo JOYSOUND.”Original ring movies made by the world’s top-class creators are distributed on all three network carriers – DoCoMo, au, and Vodafone.

“Top Creators’ Movie” is a collection of pop, cool, clever, and cute movie clips produced by top creators from around the world who have well-established reputations in the fields of film, TV commercial, music video, and advertising. The movie clips are specifically designed for 3G phones in the Japanese market using various methods such as 2D animations, computer graphics, and live action. In order to achieve the best possible reproduction quality on the mobile phones, encoding of visuals into the 3G phone format is handled by IMAGICA, with its expertise accumulated in its long history in post production, and the audio is formatted by XING, a leader in the ringtone business.
