NEWS: lost in mtv unpaused

two weeks after signing with lost in space the zeitguised crew won their first pitch for a mtv networks europe rebrand project.

cam levin of mtvne commissioned lost in space's zeitgusied team to rebrand the existing back to back day and night video slots. both a new name for the slots and break bumpers were required to tie the day and night slots together for this classic MTV back 2 back video concept which had previously been fairly loosely branded.

 

 

 

lost in space | zeitguised developed a solution based around the idea of compulsion and abandonment. normal daily chores would be shown abandoned in favor of compulsive viewing of the new "unpaused" video segments. after the break the view notices subtle signs of the passage of time affecting the abandoned domestic chores. the iron boiling dry, an about to over flow sink where the dishes have been left and the tap running.. altogether four themes each with a day and night variation where created based video footage shot for the occasion and a segment logo animation developed to tie the slots together.

The new branding for the unpaused slots will be going to air in early in may.
